Welcome to Raise the Gaze At present this site promotes my first published book "Parables from the Pond." (Check out the description of the book, and also some reader comments.)
Raise the Gaze is a writing slogan that encapsulates the redemptive theme and world view that generally informs my writing efforts. It is hoped that these writings will help raise the readers’ gaze from the secular to the sacred, from the temporal to the eternal, from the material to the spiritual, and to draw them a little deeper.
I write a weekly inspirational column in the Watford Guide-Advocate, a Southwestern Ontario community newspaper. Also, I enjoy writing –
